The January trip to Pembrokeshire saw a rather lack-lustre performance by many of the County squad although the Ladies B team gained a 4-2 win to get the weekend off to a good start.  Liz Horsley played exceptionally well in the last set to get the win and the Lady of the Match award averaging 17.91.  The Mens B started well winning the first 4 sets then took their time gaining another 3 to gain a 7-5 winning result. Gary Price took the honours with his 25.45 average.
Starting with a good lead on the Sunday, the Ladies A couldn't make any impression on a strong Pembrokeshire side, Cath Brennan gaining the sole point for Gloucestershire with her 19.03 average.  The Mens A also had an uphill struggle and Glos had to wait until the final set of the day for Henry O'Neill to win securing a 6-6 draw for the Mens A side and an overall draw 18-18 for Gloucestershire.  Man of the Match was James Hurrell with an impressive 33.38 average.  This was the top Mens average in Division 3.
Next match home to Norfolk on 11th/12th February - all supporters are welcome at Wootton Hall Club. Please note Noon start on Saturday but 11 a.m. start on Sunday.
